Thanks in advance for your help. I have a brake lever that is not returning. assume return springs on brakes have quit. Shop manual says take off wheel... remove axle bearing retainer nuts and slide whole assembley which is back axel free. Now I have gotten my tail in the fan too many times to not check. does this assembly slide out this easy and what about the brake rod actuater. does this have to be disconnected from the tractor body or does it remain on tractor when the axel unit is removed. thanks again tim
