Arps and Dearborn plow setups show up from time to time in snow country. They usually run about $400 to $800 depending on condition. I paid $450 for mine and it needed a lot of work. I would start watching Craig's List and Ebay. You might have to travel a bit to get one. And if you find one, act fast. They sell quickly. Make sure all the brackets are included. They are impossible find alone.
They do not interfere with the rotation of the front axle.
There are other types of hydraulic types of plows out there. I have a Sauder power angle on my 660 that works great. They are nice plows and many will fit the 9N, 2N, and 8N with some modification, but you have to chain down the lift arms for them to work. Then rig up some hydraulic lines. TOH is a good source for how to do this.
