The Ambra G134 is the current CNH product name for their house brand of universal tractor transmission oil. It meets the Ford M2C-134D specifications. The "D" version is simply the latest in a series of specifications for this type of oil - e.g. M2C-134A/B/C/D. You can buy basically the same thing for a lot less $$$$ at places like TSC or Walmart. It will be labeled Universal Tractor Transmission fluid and the label should state that it conforms to one of the M2C-134x specifications. The "old" stuff was conventional SAE 90 gear oil and an entirely differnt animal altogether. It does no meet any of the M2C-134x specifications. You may use either the UTF type oil (better hydraulics in cold weather) or the SAE 90 gear oil.
