I bought this one when I was wanting to put one on a 8N but never got around to it and the tractor is gone now. I bought it as, an "Original Antique Ford 8N 9N 2N Tractor Front Bumper" from Everitt Tractors. Now, it doesn't look like an original to me because, as I understand it (but I certainly do not know it all or much of anything compared to many of you), the original bumpers were riveted and not welded and this one is welded so I may have got took. It has happened before. To shorten the story, I'm willing to part with it if you're willing to accept an "original" dent on the right side (looking at the front) bottom strap. It is heavy and the shipping would be a bit I recon but I'll look into it if you're interested. It does look old and probably is older but may not be from the early 40s or 50s. I paid too much because I wanted authenticity so I will take a loss on it. E-mail me if interested. Gene

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
