Several years ago I had a Ford 501, 7' mower on my 51 8N. That was a really good combination and on a Jubilee or 600 series tractor would be even better. I had good hay ground and mowed mostly in third gear. I traded work with neighbors and could just about run over any other tractor mowing in the same field. Set up right, with a good sharp sickle you just cant beat a 501 and a Ford tractor.
