Yes the picture is from the front of the tractor. The receiver in the picture is not a draw bar bracket - it is used to attach a loader. What I'm saying is I can use that same attachment scheme to mount a flat plate with tapped holes to match the 8N pattern under the 9N differential. You can then use those tapped holes to mount the 8N drawbar just like on the 8N. I did the installation of that receiver outside on the ground with nothing more than a socket and vice grips. Remove and replace the lower studs on each side with longer ones and bolt on the side brackets using the original nuts. If you wanted you could replace the studs with cap screws and save a few bucks.
