Please let us know what problem you have. Why are you adjusting the clutch? Not enough free play or too much. The clutch adjustment is a small clevis under the back part of the clutch pedal. There is supposed to be 3/16 inch of free play but I know my tractor has more than that and it works fine. You are at the right place to get information, these guys know tractors well. Free play on the 9N clutch is related to the left brake adjustment/operation. The clutch pedal is designed to apply the left brake by contacting the brake pedal at the precise point the clutch disengages - e.g. it is both the clutch and a second left brake pedal. If the free play on the clutch and/or left brake pedal is excessive that function doesn't work properly.
