It runs off of the rear hydraulics that also power the 3 point. Is there a way to put a live pump on it to have seperate controls for the loader?
Thanks
Many loaders used a shaft driven pump mounted on the loader frame in front of the grill. If your loader is not currently equipped with a place to mount a pump you will have to fabricate one and add a hydraulic reservoir. The shaft drive parts are readily available - figure about $400+ for the pump, reservoir, and shaft drive components.
Alternatively you could also use a belt driven pump like this one - more than adequate to run the loader and uses the internal sump on the tractor. It can also be used to upgrade the 3pt lift with live hydraulics.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
