I agree with your opinion. I have had a 8N and currently am restoring a 44' 2N and i love them for what they are, but like most say - they are not good loader tractors and the lack of Live PTO and lift is not very good in some situations. When I wanted to get something to fit the bill I looked at em' all... and I bought orange. Dollar for dollar ALOT more tractor than NH. I think NH was 3rd or 4th in my rankings at the time which was about 5 years ago. Just my 2 cents.
