Basically everything that is painted is painted Battleship Grey. The rear rims are cadnium silver (but most people just paint them silver.) My dad and I painted his 9N mostly grey but painted the starter, carb, and seat black for a little contrast. Also, we painted the exhaust high temp. silver. Of course, the 8N colors look prettier but are not correct for the 9N/2N. The paint we used was a few shades light but my dad already had it and we didn't like the dark grey very much. The grille was painted separately and is close to the original shade.
