Eriklane, Soundguy may be referring to my plow. Several years ago I built a front mounted snow plow for my 2N. I didn't like the cable lift system that Ford had built for the Dearborn models so I used two hyd. cylinders in a closed loop system. When the 3 point was lifted it pushed the oil out of the rear cylinder to the front and raised the plow. With the lift mechanism I made for the front I could lift the blade a full 20" which I thought better than the 8" with the Dearborn. The pics at the link below have been all over the web but are still instructive for showing what I built. They are from when I first built the plow and do not show subsequent modifications to the blade such as a turntable for angling the blade, springs to allow the blade to tip forward and adjustable skid shoes to prevent the blade from digging too deeply. I never did take any photos of those upgrades. I have since sold that tractor and plow. An N with a 6' plow, wheel weights and tire chains will move an incredible amount of snow. If you'd like more information you can email me. I'm always glad to help fellow tractor nuts.
