well i don't know about a 2 bottom and clay but i think it would be pretty hard. that one bottom to me would be ok depending on how much you want to turn over. i know that there were some people looking for 1 bottoms on ebay a while back and paying good money for them. also, i disagree with the statement of the N tractors pulling a two bottom plow. they have plenty of power for that if it is done correctly. even old quack grass won't stop my 8n with 2 bottom. if you have good shares and your plow is set correctly...i mean pitched right...then that tractor will pull a 2 bottom without great effort. i say take it for $100 without hesitating. use it until you find a 2 bottom or keep it.
