I have seen'em run for years wif neg ground. One think that izz common on'em izz when the coil starts to fail to the point it will hardly run you kin switch it back to pos ground and it will run well. Then it just a matter of time the coil findley pukes and will not run on pos ground. Switch back to pos ground and put a new coil on it. It may not polarize EZ and you may have to try the polarizing deal with it run'n. Its a fact the coil will out put enuff to keep'er going at 75% so operating on a neg ground you got 75% om a good coil. so the coil starts to fail and it will barly run. Switch back to pos ground and you git the 75% factor till the coil findley gives up and its back to were it wuz at on the neg ground with a coil thats probably at around 50%. The crazy thing I have seen when this happens izz the spark will B blue but will not jump a large gap as it should. its possible to have blue spark but still weak. The test izz will it jump a large gap and snap crackle pop.

I can think of a few common, ordinary sounds in my daily life, too.
