Have you tried jumpering the ignition switch? Those switches seem to often go bad. Try putting that old coil back in if you still have it. It's not unheard of for coils to be faulty out of the box - and maybe there was nothing wrong with the old coil in the first place. Check your points, your firing order, charge your battery, and check your compression like Soundguy suggested earlier. Let us know how you make out with these steps. Colin, MN
