Tymoc: Not sure which brand of two wheel tractor you are remembering. I think the most popular and probably best made were the Gravely walk behinds. Gravely is still in business but no longer make the walk behinds you refer to. There is however a following for these early Gravelys that is similar to the 8N. I have both and often use the Gravely to clean out a light snow fall instead of using the N. Gravely made numerous implements (mower, snow blade, rotary plow, cultivator, sicklebar, etc.) to fit these two wheel tractors. A google search will tell you all you need to know about these machines. Parts are available and whole machines are often listed on e-bay. They are great little tractors.
