I've got both side covers off and both running boards off. Like I said the pump will go all the way "up" but not all the way "forward" (torwards the engine).
It seems to be getting jammed on the piece of the cylindrical housing the PTO shaft goes into immediately in front of the pump itself. I've tried up & down, back & forth, holding it with a jack & not holding it with a jack. I've had the quadrant lever up, down, the draft control up, down.
What else can I check?! Is it possible the cam blocks or something else has to be aligned?
I'm missing something I know.
