Speaking as the proud father of two fine daughters (ages 18 and 19), I can tell you that Larry hit the nail right on the head: If you spend a great deal of quality time with them from the very beginning, you will be rewarded with great kids. You may have some frustration as they go through various stages, but you will not have any major problems. Keep them involved in activities that allow them to grow and gain self confidence and they will not have the time or desire to get into trouble. Good luck and enjoy the next 20 years.
