A friend has asked for some help getting his 8N started. Before going over could you tell me if all 8N's are positive ground such as my 9N? He tells me that his battery went dead after he re-installed it this spring and I wonder if he didn't hook it up backwards. He had another friend go over it last fall, new points, plugs, took out the inline gas filter, which was good, and then they drained the gas out and now it won't start. I'm experienced with my 9N, but not 8N's. Any advise provided will be much appreciated. Ron from God's Country, the Great Upper Peninsula of Mich.
