Hi Folks, Happy Labor day weekend. Would appreciate any help on the following question. Have a standard brown jet star. Plug wires were removed. Looking at the operators manual it looks like the firing order is 1-3-4-2. in the book it shows the dist cap with the plug wire holes at 12,oclock, 3 oclock 6 oclock and 9 oclock ( looking at it from the left side with the radiator to the left. When I look at the tractor from the same view I have plug wire holes on the dist cap at 10 oclock 2oclock, 4oclock and 8 oclock, there is a wire that goes from the coil to the distributor that is at 4 oclock, My question is where do I start with plug wire #1 and do they go in consecutive order clockwise or something else. I was looking at my dads well worn operators manual page 78. thanks very much for any help and God Bless! Jim

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
