Does yours happen to have the adjusting plug on the top plate to take out? Ive never had any luck with removing them to adjust anything. I have one on mine but not sure there is enough clearance to take it out. I know there isnt on my M5. If the plug would have been 1/4" farther ahead it might have worked. I had read in an I&T book that some of the later 670s had a plug on the right side (by the battery) to adjust the brake band but dont believe Ive ever seen one.
