This is a lot of work BUT. If you remove the blocking plug that is in place of old cam driven oil pump and drill a hole in it the same size as the old oil pump shaft about 1 1/2 inches deep. Put a ball the same size as hole in the hole then use a 585 oil pump gear and saw off shaft so you have about .010 to .020 clearance between gear and top of plug. The short shaft will ride on top of ball and you will have your cable drive tach drive back as it was before the external pump was installed.
