O.A. Keele Sandwich,Il. I remember being in there when I was early grade school age. Had several new tractors in the shop, 5 star and others. Pearl Keele was the lady that ran the business if I remember correctly. I have a black and white 8 by 10 photo of Pearl and her mechanic standing outside in front of the business. The building is still there but has gone thru several changes. For several decades after O.A. keele was gone the building was the office/ store for our local lumber co. The big box lumber co.'s forced our lumber co. out of business and since, the building has been renovated again.
Another m.m. dealer in our area was Doty Implement. Charlie Doty had his m.m. dealership in two different locations. Dover ,Il. was the last. Charlie attends the M.M. conventions and displays his model dealership. No lap tops back then. I don't think you could even be put on hold if you called, no "hold" button !!!!!!!!!!!!
