Hey toolz, What kind of a governor are you running on it? Don't remember if the 605"s had the stationary governors on them or not, if so, they don't work like a normal governor on a field tractor, so the direct throttle cable to the carb like Ted said may be the best option. It has been a while since I looked at that engine back when it was in Teds tractor. Although, If LW says timing, I definately would be checking that also. Just a thought, good luck. Ted, tell your dad I am sorry for not making it up to penfield with the GTBD, we just had too much going on to get up there and put on the pull at Arthur, and some family stuff going on. Maybe next time.
