The adjustment on your pinion is done with the nut on the front side of the pinion. Sorry to inform you, but there is adjustments on the ring gear carrier most people do not go to the trouble due to work involved. The adjustment is done with shims behind the bearing cups in the axle housings. Lots of dealers will tell you that there is no adjustment on the carrier brgs, because the shims are not shown with the carrier assy. they are shown on the page with the axle housings. I would not advise using one of the cheap aftermarket gear sets that are listed for a 35. I have installed several in the past, and they don't seem to hold up very long.
