Q for Bill Brox - MF 35 Differential

> you. No way you can do this alone. I now have a picture of the assembly from a parts dealer. Two questions:
1. Is the pinion adjustment done with shims? It's not obvious how to do this from the picture?
2. For the ring gear, why do you need 2 people and a screwdriver? Can't I remove the whole assembly, replace the gear on the bench, and put it back? Thanks for the help...BTW, can you tell me roughly what it would cost to get a used differential assembly, US$? I'm guessing $300-$400. Kurt
