MF 50C perkins engine. Started it up this afternoon to continue digging. Ran about 10 seconds then died and wouldn't start again. Thought that it had run out of fuel in the tank. Put 5 gallons in. Still won't start. Even with some ether. Took the fuel filter off and cleaned it out. Back together, and still won't start. Broke loose the return line from the injector pump to the filter and nothing comes out when cranking. Couldn't get a wrench on the intake line for the injector pump.
Took the line off the lift pump and cranked it and only a little came out, but battery seemed a bit slow cranking. Did take the cover off of the side of the injector pump and the shaft in there is turning.
Will check with a fresh battery tomorrow, but seems like the lift pump died on me. What is your opinions? Thanks Hush
