I have just always found (napa gold filters) to be a good quality filter. They may be made by wix, do not know as wix brand may have a top line filter,
all I was saying is not to cheap out on your filters for the old tractor.
our local mf dealer had oil filters price very reasonable the last time I was in, he said they tried to do whatever they could to insure people changed the oil in their machines.
my old TO-35 has some type oil bath filter for the air, must work ok as it's been in use for around 57 years and still works,
I have taken it off a couple of times and washed it out with kerosene.
I always use Baldwin air, fuel and oil filters in my Dodge diesel truck, so far have had no problems.
