Hi Bill, A press would seem the most suitable way of removing the pin. However there is a real danger of breaking one of the sides of the jaw unless the gap between the ram end and inside of the jaw is shimmed up tightly. My suggestion would be mount the arm securely in a vice on a heavy bench if you have one and heat the area around the pin. Keep the heat in the jaw metal and away from the pin. If you do not have an oxy-ecetylene kit a pressurized canister blowlamp can be quite effective. If after heating you can gain a little movement then you are on the way. Take care not to damage the end of the pin. Use a brass dift or similar. It's not likely to be THAT tight as the webs are relatively thin. Good luck. DavidP, South Wales
