A 20 is an industrial 135 and a 30 is an industrial 165. They were made from about 1968 to 1975 and then the 20C and 40B models replaced them. The 20 would have a 3 cylinder Perkins gas or a 4 cylinder Continental. Both good engines. The 30 would have a 4 cylinder Perkins 212 gas engine which is also a good engine. The 30 was available with manual shuttle or instant reverse as well as the MF34 loader with 4 bar linkage. The 20 had a standard trans. or manual shuttle but was only available with the basic MF32 loader. A 40 is like an extra heavy duty 135 and available with the same transmissions and optional MF34 loader as the 30 but less H.P. as it uses a 3 cylinder Perkins like the 20. The 30B and 40B reverse the order as the 40B replaces the 30 and the 30B replaces the 40.

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
