As Chuck mentioned, check control rod for full up-down travel first. If linkage is disconnected you should feel the belcrank lever move the spool valve. Have seen the shoulder pivot bolt break before too. If all is well, lift cover can be removed to check MP pump, may have driveline failure. Last is MP clutch pack, if that needs work 2 splits are needed to remove transmission assembly, as top shaft must be removed, then input shaft is removed from rear to free up clutch pack through top with shift rails out also.
