When I was near Canada like Dan S is, my 6 foot 3 point farmking blower worked just fine. Now that I am further south and closer to the ocean, the snow falls wet and thick, and the blower is useless as designed, it just pushing the muck along like a mechanized blade. I find a loader with wide bucket gets me cleaned out fast, then a scraper blade finishes up. Use a blower here, and it would all melt before I could finish job.
