Sometimes when gear changing the gears will lock up,shift to low to release or push the clutch fully down to disengage drive to the pump. As you get used to the tractor, you will get to the stage where you never let this lock-up happen. It is caused by letting the tractor roll back slightly when facing uphill or vice-verca.Also if you need to work in low for long periods shift to high every now and then to lube the front top bearing of the gearbox.
