I have both a MF 65 and a MF150. I bought the 65 as a project to fix and resell. It came with a 2 spool remote valve MF #677219 installed, but the 3 point hitch didn"t work due to a bad pump. When I replaced the pump, I removed the remote valve and installed the bypass cover from the 150. The hitch on the 65 now works. I then installed the valve on the 150 and the 3 point hitch no longer works and there is no flow through the remote valve to an external cylinder. I had the draft control in the up position and the position control lever in the constant pumping quadrant. What does the knob on the left side of the valve do? I had the knob on the back on the valve screwed in because I"m using a double acting cylinder. Before I take this valve off and tear it all apart, is there something else I need to do to make everything work?

To see a picture of the valve, you can to agcopartsbook.com , type 100 into the search box and MF for the manufacturer. The first book that comes up will be 100/200/1000 Accessories. Scroll a little on the left until you find Auxiliary Hydraulic Valve (677219)

Today's Featured Article - Madison's County - by Anthony West. Philip Madison has been a good friend of mine for quite some time. He has patiently suffered my incessant chit chat on the subject of tractors for longer than I care to remember, and on many occasions he has put himself out, dropped what ever it was he was doing, to come and lend a hand cranking handles, or loading a find onto a trailer. Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects. ... [Read Article]
