decking 47A block

I am rebuilding 47 A using over size pistons,wondering how much hp.will be gained by decking the block? I know it's going to raise the comperssion which in turn should increase hp.but by how much? I was planning to take 50k off the block,how much is to much?I do have plans for a different carb. and intake system,due to the restrictions of the carb and filtration system.I am in the hunt for a DLTX51 carb,not sure on the filtration yet.
