Joe, I have a 44 2-14" hydraulic lift plow. It is 48" between the outside of both tires. The widest part of the plow is actually the hubs on the wheels - that is 50" overall. I have hauled mine in the back of my pickup but had to leave the tailgate down. Maybe could unbolt the hitch from the plow and leave the tailgate up - I might try that the next time.
