John, The 2030 diesel has a 219 engine that uses an engine oil cooler. This cooler is located between the oil filter and the block and will have two coolant lines hooked to it. When the oil cooler core fails the engine oil will be forced into the coolant because the engine oil pressure is greater than the cooling system pressure. There is no repair for it other than replacing it. The only other place the two fluid can become mixed is the head gasket but the most common cause for this is the oil cooler. To get the oil out of your radiator just keep over filling it as the coolant is heavier than the oil and the oil will always come to the top. Overfilling will force the oil out of the top of radiator. You will get the oil out of the cooling system better that way than you will draining as the oil will cling to the inside of radiator and water jacket when coolant is drained. It will eventually be flushed out as you continue to check it and flush it by overfilling it every once in awhile. Good Luck Dave W.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
