if you have a reverser, you should disengage the engine disconnect clutch. this is done by extra clutch pedal movement (after reverser clutch is disengaged.there should be a definite rise in pedal effort for this operation. without reverser you have a dual stage clutch. here too, after you disengage the transmission clutch you shuld have some extea pedal stroke with increased pedal effort in order to disengage the pto clutch. if you dont 'feel' the extra pedal effort you should make sure that the pto clutch is not 'eliminated'(by adjusting the plate with elongated hole at the base of the clutch pedal). if it's not 'eliminated', a careful adjustment is the next step. at any case, you have a continuous running pto. inependant pto is independant of clutch operation (in 2030 its hydraulically operated with a lever between shift levers. david
