I tried welding the leaks. They're pinholes. Not structural rust as far as I can see. I went after them with a stick welder and was never able to find and close them all.
I think I'll try JB Weld next. That spray rubber stuff worked great FOR A WHILE. The heat probably made it leak.
If I have to, I'll just add a tank and forget about the whole mess.
I got the machine with all kinds of leaks and have since replaced most hoses and I'm working on rebuilding one cylinder at a time (on the backhoe).
The ultimate goal is to have it dry.
I have a love/hate relationship with this machine (it seems to feel the same way) and I can't afford to replace it.
At this point, I plan to keep it and eventually get an 8N or something cheap with a 3-point to do other stuff.
Besides, trying to steer this machine is keeping me in shape!
