Thanks for the info, looking from the front of the tractor I found the plug that takes the 1/2" pull bar to remove the plug between the hydraulic oil filter and the axle. Drained the transmission housing first with the 1" plug under the backside of the tractor by the draw bar looking from the back side of the tractor it was on the right side. The oil was clean and all 21 Gal. came out,had a kiddie pool to hold it. The transmission suction screen was clean like the oil, looked inside through the hole and the inside of the transmission was clean also. Put it all back together and still had the same problem will not rase the hydraulic disk. But now I know that it is not the oil, the hydraulic filter, the transmission pump suction screen and the SCV which I took apart. Maybe by the time my JD hydraulic service manual that I have ordered gets here I will have a 5000PSI gauge here also. The 3 point lifts real slow and the engine loads up for about 2 seconds when I engage the PTO which works. Thanks for all the replies, looks like I will have to check one thing at a time until I find the problem, Waiting on the Hyd manual and the gauge.
