I believe that transmission is called a PowerReverser isn't it.
They have a seperate controler for the reverser and it is under the seat. Just a big help might be to put the thing in park on a level surface and get under the thing and look for a loose wire ging to the FNR soleniods. I worked on a guys one time that was acting up and a RAT had got under it and chewed on some wires. All the codes were messed up saying that the Shift unit on the steering column was bad. I can't remember where the controler gets the N signal from. You may think this sounds crazy but if the machine is running and it does not have the neutral signal it will go into default and will not move. If it does not go through neutral it will not shift to forward. When you shut it off the default is reset and if it gets the neutral signal first and then the forward everything is ok. You are not getting any warning lights on the dash.
You can use the dash to trouble shoot this stuff. There is a beep mode that will beep every time a switch is activated.
