I have a 2510 with a 47 on it. Bought the tractor in 1966 and the loader in 1967. Been on it ever since and has been a good machine. I rebuilt the Gresen valve last year. Have it plumbed directly into the hydraulics due to only 1 SCV. I have picked up a green cypress log 22" in diameter and 16 ft long at my portable sawmill. A green bald cypress log is probably 50% water. Front tires didn't like it a bit, but they held. No problem for a large round bale.
Only drawback I can think of is if the 3020 frame is too wide. I just measured my 2510's frame at 20 inches outside to outside. Any wider would just not be feasible.
The JD 47 manual shows mounting for 2510 and 2020. Nothing else.
