If you are upset when someone asks the same question to another person I think that is a bit petty. I am disposed to ask questions when I'm researching an issue, regardless of the topic. I believe that is all part of the fact gathering process. When someone asks me a question, I am honored they would ask and I don't mind them asking other people as I know for sure I'm not the person who know everything about the issue, that no one else is as smart as me, and that they can't get any more clarity by further exploration. I've seen numerous topics on this forum where people give information that is conflicting with other inputs. In that case, most people will look for a common thread that gives them some confidence what is the best answer, not the only answer. Simple issues like starting a diesel, leaving clutch engaged, draining the carb after use, how to mow headlands, the right type of plugs, best aftermarket parts, etc., all elicit differing answers/suggestions. I've saved myself time and money by asking for multiple inputs and if the majority agree with my train of thought it gives me the confidence that I'm on the right path to resolve my issue. Isn't that what forums are designed to accomplish? JMHO
