Several years ago new rollguards and tops were showing up at a sale in MS. The guy claimed they were taken off new 4020s in Canada by the government and replaced by cages for highway mowing. They had been stored for all those years. The lower plates were thinner than Deeres and the bolts were only 5/8. These wouldn't hold up in a roll over. I would say the Saginaw and McGreww are not like those. Legtimate businesses cannot afford the liability of cheap roll guards. Call salvage yards to find a used one which will need painting or they might also deal in those aftermarket ones.
