Darn shame it clipped the pinion shaft, a lot of times it knocks that aluminum manifold of and locks it into the gears, not hurting them. the bottom shaft will need to come out and it's near impossible to put it back in with out the set-up dummy shaft, and when you do it be "absolutely" sure that you follow the schematic of the parts exactly, the rear lower shift collar can be put in backwards and not work out...as well as having the snap rings in order and the thrust washers in right,,wish you were closer,, I can do one of these in my sleep,,,but on the other hand I have a 7400 power Quad here that is making my head hurt...
