This is an explanation of terminology not intended to upset anyone.
The people on this forum such as I that were associated with JD equipment on the dealer level back 40-50 years ago are very acquainted with these terms. It just comes natural for these people to refer to objects with the same terminology as they were listed in parts and sales literature so it's actually not fancy to us.. Besides scv another term I use is SGB which is what JD started identifying their cabs in 1973 until 1993. Plus try looking up hyd outlet in a 3020 parts catalog for >SN 123,000 to find parts for the remote outlet. I'll bet you won't find it under that nomenclature.
