Many people will tell you to get another block and if you have the money that is an ok option. We have a 4020 that is cracked top and bottom between all six liners. When we overhauled it we used a sealer sold by locktite I think it was 505 or 515.We got it at our CaseIH dealer it is red and the lable says flexes with flanges. The head gasket seals on the liners so that will be ok,but put sealer there also. Our 4020 has lasted 20 years and we did pull it down 10 years ago because a bad fuel injecter caused one piston to score. We replaced one sleeve assembly and put it back together.I know of several other 3020's and 4020's that are just fine with the cracked block between the sleeves.
