wondering if someone can help me determine wether I have the correct wiring for the alt on my A. it wasn't charging my battery at all before I tore everything apart; alt is currently at the shop being tested/fixed (if necessary) so figured I would make sure wiring is also correct.
- there were 2 wires coming from the alt; one went to the switch for the lights and the other went to the amp guage...
- from the amp guage (besides the wire to the alt), there was one wire that went to the on/off switch, and the third wire went back to the battery on the negative pole (tractor is positive ground)...
if anyone knows if (A) this is correct and (B) what poles on the amp guage and alt should be sending wires in which direction (in case they are switched) please help me out.
