My children would say yes,but picking corn with a mounted picker was one job that I loved.I really liked the sound of the corn ears thumping in an empty gravity wagon and really liked to split down thru the middle of a corn field.We parked the picker on sheets of plywood to help kep moisture from the concrete drawing dampness and we sprayed the whole thing down with hyd. oil.So for now I think that I will keep it.I am glad to know that there are other people still interested in the mounted pickers.I have seen dozens of very good pickers go for scrap over he years.
