Doing the job right the first time is usually cheaper than doing the job over a 2nd time. Shipping is cheap. One trip to send and receive the parts saves a lot of valuable time and fuel to run around for parts and shops. RT is a shop that has specialized in diesel two cylinders for decades. Asking billy bob down a Bubba's machine shop, bait, tackle and marital advice services if he has ever machined a two cylinder before . Sometimes they don't admit they don't have the proper tools for a 6+ inch bore. Main bearing clearances and bearing materials have caused some serious problems.
