Hey was wondering if anyone else has put a 1951 block in a 1942 john deere b. I happended to have a 51 block with .045 over gas pistons and my 42 B i ripped into has 5 cracks in the block one in every pushrod tube and one between the bores, and it has the all fuel pistons. I already did a decent amount of grinding on the 51 block to get it to bolt in place and I am going to drill and tap 4 out of the six holes that were in the other block to put support back in. I can already tell the upper radiator hose will need minor modification. Just wondering if anyone else has done this swap and if I am missing anything? Thanks Zach

Although he himself has never actually owned or restored a tractor, he was always enthusiastic and always around helping with other peoples projects.
